Ok. PM should be working better now. You can use either the displayname (ie Tofujoe) or @name (without the @…ie tofujoe). You should also be able to successfully use the “send a pm” button from the users home page. You can send PM’s to multiple users, just separate the names with commas. As always, let [...]

I’ve tried a bunch of plugins to see if we can get a nice image upload working, but every one I have tried has some major drawback to it. This is #1 on the fix list. I’m also thinking that it might be worth switching to WPMU and allowing multiple blogs. Hindsight.

Thanks for the report.
I noticed this as well. Need to make the username and @name work for PMs. Currently you would have to know their login name which is not shown anywhere.

Tried several times to send a PM tonight, no luck whatsoever. Even clicking on a user, then choosing message this user took me to a page where I had to enter their name, and neither their name, their @name or any other attempts actually worked. Just to put that one out there.
